| Lucinda A. Brockway is owner of Past Designs, a landscape preservation and design firm in Kennebunk, Maine. She specializes in the reservation and management of designed and vernacular landscapes of all periods and sizes throughout the Northeast. She is the author of A Favorite place of Resort for Strangers, Taking a Garden Public: Feasibility and Startup and numerous popular and professional articles. An award-winning landscape designer, her work has been recognized by the Garden Club of America, the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Preservation League of New York State and others. She lectures throughout the country on landscapepreservation, American garden and landscape history, landscape design, and plant history.
