 Elizabeth O'Brien is a former newspaper and Life magazine reporter and a native of Memphis, Tennessee. Since 1993, she has lived in Austin, Texas, with her husband, the photographer Michael O'Brien, and their three children: Jesse, Owen, and Sam.
