| Allen J. Wiener is co-author with James R. Boylston of the forthcoming David Crockett in Congress: The Rise and Fall of the Poor Man's Friend and co-author with William R. Chemerka of Music of the Alamo: From 19th Century Ballads to Big-Screen Soundtracks, both from Bright Sky Press, and author of The Beatles: The Ultimate Recording Guide. He has written for The Washington Post, People, American History, The Alamo Journal, Western Clippings, Goldmine and Discoveries. Wiener has written liner notes for several CDs and has served as a researcher and consultant for several books.
