Carla Powers is a lawyer who heads the litigation department of a major multinational energy company. Before entering the corporate world, she was a trial lawyer in Houston for more than 20 years and an adjunct professor at the University of Houston Law Center. She is an accomplished legal writer and speaker, active in many professional, charitable, and civic organizations. Carla lives in Houston with her son, Andrew.
