Anne-Laure’s paintings reflect deep faith. Their bright colors convey messages of hope, joy, peace, love and communion with others. As she paints, her prayers flow through her brush onto the canvas. Sometimes inspiration for a painting comes through words or quotes that resonate deeply with her. Sometimes it comes through powerful events in her life. But however God provides her with the subject matter, the messages are universal. Painting for Anne-Laure is a dialogue, and her canvases are witnesses of a strong experience of communion. Readers will join Anne-Laure in the understanding the mysterious and beautiful ways art and creativity bring us closer to our center and to God.
With symbolic colors, shapes, compositions, textures and contrasts, each painting serves as a powerful testament to the connection between spirituality and creativity. In the tradition of icons and mandalas, Anne-Laure’s visual prayers reach out with positive transformational power and inspire all who see them to feel more connected.
