|Baxter Barrett Brown has a big bass fiddle, and he loves the big, low sounds it makes as he plays it all day long. Why can the fiddle not go with him on his every adventure of imagination? Oh! But it can! An adaptation here and there, and over the road they go. A rudder and an anchor, and just see the two set sail!
An age-old story of the deep bond of friendship between musicians and their instruments, this charming story is enhanced by the vivacious watercolors of Charles Shaw—and a CD of Baxter's "Bass Fiddle Tunes."
